One of the projects our own Erik Hendrix is working on is The Steam Engines of Oz, a re-imagining of the world of Oz, throwing it 100 years into the future following the Wizard of Oz… How will your favorite characters have changed, and who are the new characters we’ll be introduced to? All will be answered on FCBD 2013! Be sure to go to your favorite comic book shop and pick up a copy.

VANCOUVER (Feb 11, 2013) – Arcana Comics is debuting The Steam Engines of Oz on Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) 2013. We’re very excited about this year’s FCBD event and we hope you’ll see why when you see the pages below!

To add to the excitement, FCBD is actually just the beginning for The Steam Engines of Oz. In June, we will be releasing The Steam Engines of Oz issue 1, which we think you’ll love as much as we do… Be sure not to let your FCBD experience end with May 4th… Pick up issue 1 in June, Issue 2 in July, Issue 3 in August, and let’s keep the story rolling! If fans enjoy our exploits of Victoria Wright and her group of friends wandering the future of Oz, we’ll keep making them!
