Some randome images… what are we up to?

Long time no talk!! CBC has been hard at work behind the scenes trying to get various projects moving forward and out there for public consumption. It’s not as easy as it seems! Several things are brewing with Arcana, as we’ve discussed before, and they’re making their gradual completion towards printing. Nail biting experience, I’ll tell you, but it’ll be worth it, trust me!

Here are some other things we have in the works…

Another secret project… This is something Erik Roman and I are working on. Art is pretty amazing, right? This is a period piece with a female protagonist and has been a BLAST to write!

Here’s yet another secret project! Something Michael Nelsen and I cooked up and drawn by the talented Ruben Rivera. The same Ruben who does the art for Doc Immortalis over HERE.

If you’ve known Erik for… oh… the last fifteen years or so, you may know something about this project. Started as a novel that will someday be finished (it will, I swear), it’s making a run into comic books with the art of one Mason Cook and inks and colors by Amit Ghadge. We’re doing a little “short”, you could say, that we’ll use as a submission package. Only thing I’ll give away here is that it’s a fantasy book and not like anything you’ve seen before. Fantasy through my own filter and interpreted by a talented art team.

I don’t know if this stuff will ever see the light of day, but we can hope! This is Acker Kinney from Faction through the lens of Aires Melo…

This is a little concept art from the mysterious “TLA”, which is in the works again… Orlando Baez is drawing this for Michael Nelsen and Erik Hendrix… Going to be a fun one! If you’ve read Citizens, you might already know who this book follows. See if you can figure it out!

That’s it for now!
